SCHERING grew up in Germany and started playing drums as a toddler. Unlike many kids, he stuck with the drums and played in various bands and even on samba parades. The feeling of partying with many people, experiencing the same music and feeling the same beat fascinated him. What also attracted his fascination early on were the flashing lights, colorful buttons and the, by the bass vibrating floor. So, he played not with cars or dolls, but disco in his children’s room. But that was soon no longer enough for him. SCHERING rented a club, which he could also fill directly with people. The passion for techno and his skills as a drummer, could be combined well, and so it came to the sound his music has today. Straight rhythms, which do not come from the tape, but are drummed in live, make SCHERING a human drum machine, and thus his sound is unique. Rolling sublines inspired by big city life, diverse sounds, and a liberating summer night feeling are guaranteed.
